Vital Zumans’ Farmer Connee Plants Tomatoes!

by

Yes, its spring and we are planting tomatoes!!

Thank you to Connee’s instructions you can too!

Here is Connee’s advice to growing beautiful, sweet, and large tomatoes.

Step 1: Clear a space of weeds and rocks for your tomatoe starter plant and dig a nice whole. Tomatoe starters should be planted a good 2 to 3 feet apart. Their roots can grow very far in all directions.

Step 2: Pull apart the bottom roots of the tomato starter, so the roots begin to grow into the soil. Then Place the tomato starter into the dirt, so that the bottom leaf is right parallel to the top of the soil.

Step 3: Cover the tomato roots and partial stem with the soil you extracted to make the whole for the tomato starter.

Step 4: Tomatoes love water! Make a mound around the tomato plant so that excess water fed to the tomato wont flood the top of the tomato plant directly, rather it will just run to the sides.

Step 5: Nurture and Watch the Tomato Plant Grow!
